An apology to women
Sometimes in my story I may sound sexist or at least very impersonal when I write about the women in my experience. I’m not a great writer but I do want to convey that I do respect women despite my objectification and using of them. I’m trying to write about the experience as I felt at the time. That is going to reflect my immaturity and my state of mind at the time these event actually occurred. I’m an addict and by definition I’m sick. This is not an excuse but an explanation. Please forgive me if you can find it in your heart to do so.

Don't worry! I don't think anybody is going to judge you for being honest. Sure, some of your behaviour at the time was somewhat reprehensible, but you're clearly growing, and changing.
If only all men could do the same thing!
It's a very interesting blog. My fiance came out as an SA last year. He had a abusive childhood, his mother was a paranoid schizophrenic and his father beat her. He learned the art of seduction young. Briefly fell in love at about 20 and was rejected by this girl whereupon he embarked on a life of sexual excess. One of his tricks he tells me was to simply beleive that you will sleep with someone, and not give them the opportunity to say no. However, all of the women he slept with - sometimes in a kind of hareem roster were consenting. He still claims that it would be demeaning to women not to take them at their word - ie if they say they want to be fuck buddies, that is what they mean. No need to "nanny" them. Whilst at the same time he confesses that some of them would have liked to take it to a higher level. To me this is way too convenient for a sex addict. Ask no questions, tell no lies. Look no deeper than their words, and you will never be responsible for hurting them. What do you think?
